Ae & Sichan

From monk to English student

Ae and Sichan are two young men of approximately twenty years old from Laos who chose to turn their dream into reality and study English. This means that they had to leave the temple where they had lived since childhood. This decision had a major impact on them, leaving the trusted and safe environment of the temple and continuing life as an ‘ordinary man’. This is a difficult transition, especially when you do not have a family to support you. Champa ensures Ae and Sichan do not have to worry about financing their study at the University of Luang Prabang and are therefore able to focus on their education and get used to their new lives.

Ae and Sichan are only two examples; there are many similar situations known.
Champa assesses each personal situation carefully and consequently offers appropriate support.
